A UV DTF printer uses UV inks to print a design on PET film (called Film A). The special inks dry almost instantly when exposed to ultraviolet light, preventing the possibility of ink leakage or diffusion during the process. As a result, the details of the printed image and text are sharp and high-definition. Then, a laminating machine is used to transfer the design from Film A to a second PET film (Film B) that serves as a support.
This technique combines the image quality, high definition and vibrant colors of UV printing, with the flexibility, durability and ease of application of the DTF technique, creating designs on films that can be applied using only your hands. It is perfect for customizing hard surfaces without any limitation of material or shape, allowing you to stamp on wood, metal, glass, ceramic, acrylic, slate, etc., without the need for plates or ovens.
