Cricut Genuine Leather: Cutting Instructions

Cricut Genuine Leather can be cut with the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore machines. Select the tabs below to view information and recommendations for cutting with each machine.
- Place Genuine Leather face down on the Cricut StrongGrip (purple) cutting mat.
- Creates a firm bond between the leather. You can use a roller or a stripper on the leather.
- Move the star-shaped reels to the right.
- Select and size images in Cricut Design Space and load mat into machine.
- Select Browse All Materials and choose Genuine Leather.
- Follow the directions in the Cricut Design Space to complete the cut.
- Before unloading the mat, check the material to make sure it is cut all the way through.
- Place Cricut Genuine Leather face down on clean cricut stronggrip (purple) Cutting Mat.
- Creates a firm bond between the leather. You can use a roller or a stripper on the leather.
- Select and size the images in Cricut Design Space and load the rug into the machine.
- Turn the Smart Set Dial to Custom. Next, select Browse all materials in the design space and choose Genuine Leather.
- Follow the prompts in Cricut Design Space to complete the cut.
- Before unloading the mat, check the material to make sure it is cut all the way through.
