How do I set up my Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machine?
To set up your Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machine, follow these steps:
- Plug in the machine and turn it on.
- Connect the machine to your computer with the USB cable or connect via Bluetooth.
- Go to design.cricut.com/setup in your browser.
- Download and install Design Space for desktop.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to sign in or create your Cricut ID and set up your new machine.
- You will know the setup is complete when you are prompted to make a test cut.
- Plug in the machine and turn it on.
- Pair your Android or iOS device with the Cricut machine via Bluetooth.
- Download and install the Design Space app (help article).
- Launch the app, then sign in or create a Cricut ID.
- Touch the menu and select Machine Settings.
- Select your machine model and follow the on-screen prompts to complete setup.
- You will know the setup is complete when you are prompted to make a test cut.
Note:Your machine is registered and activated during machine setup. If you did not complete setup when you first connected your machine to your computer, reconnect your machine by going to design.cricut.com/setup or selecting New Machine Setup through the Design Space menu and following the on-screen instructions.
