rPET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a thermoformable laminated material that is made entirely of recycled PET plastic, for example, from plastic bottles or containers. By subjecting it to the felt creation process, a durable material is obtained and suitable for daily use, which, in addition to being of recycled origin, is also recyclable.
The Recycled felt wallet is made from rPET plastic with a zipper closure and matching puller, and also features a distinctive rPET side label.

How to sublimate Recycled felt wallet?
Sublimation times and temperatures are for reference only and may vary depending on the press, paper, inks, or environment. It is recommended to run tests before production.
Important: Remember to protect the zippers with thermal tape before sublimation.
- 1.- Do the printing in mirror mode.
- 2.- It is advisable to let dry the paper for 5 minutes.
- 3.- Preheat the press to 200ºC.
- 4.- Remember to protect the parts that can be damaged by heat with thermal tape.
- 5.- Place the product and the printing paper correctly on the press.
- 6.- Close the press for around 30 seconds and put pressure on the product.
- 7.- Once this time has passed, take out the product of the press and then remove the paper.
- 8.- Leave the product for a few seconds.

The colors of the image have changed their tonality.
When sublimating the product, the gray color of the material will be combined with the colors of the printed image, causing a change in the tones. To reduce this effect, it is recommended to use designs with dark colors, for example, contrasting logos or images, personalized phrases, names of companies or institutions. It is not advisable to personalize with portrait or landscape images.
The print has white dots or lines.
These small marks are produced because a speck of dust has remained on the surface between the garment and the paper. It is important to clean the press and the surface of the garment well before sublimating, for example with a lint roller. The use of protective paper is also recommended.
Zipper print.
It is recommended to leave the zipper outside the press to prevent its thickness from influencing the printing, causing defects.
