How to sublimate a Sublimatable DM3 wooden Grandpa photo frame?
Sublimation times and temperatures are for reference only and may vary depending on the press, paper, inks, or environment. It is recommended to run tests before production.
- Print the design in mirror mode.
- It is recommended to let the paper dry for about 5 minutes.
- Preheat the press to 200ºC.
- Pre-pressing: Wooden photo frames contain some internal moisture, so a pre-pressing of 10-15 seconds is necessary. This prevents excessive warping.
- Pressing: Place the printed paper correctly over the photo frame inside the press.
- Close the press and apply medium-high pressure for about 60 seconds.
- Once the time has passed, use gloves to remove the product from the press and peel off the paper.
- Allow the photo frame to cool for a few minutes.
If the item bends slightly, do a post-pressing of 10-20 seconds face down to correct the deformation.
