How to sublimate Leatherette Mobile card holder?
Sublimation times and temperatures are for reference only and may vary depending on the press, paper, inks, or environment. It is recommended to run tests before production.
IMPORTANT!: any non-sublimable part of wallets and purses must be kept outside the pressing area. If this is not possible, cover the area with cardboard to avoid damage or stains during the transfer process.
- Print in mirror mode and let the print dry for a few minutes.
- Preheat the press to 180º.
- Place sheets of paper between the compartments to prevent the leather from sticking during pressing. If needed, cover non-sublimable areas as mentioned above.
- Place the product on the press, keeping the non-sublimable area outside if possible. Place the print on the flap and fix it with heat-resistant tape.
- It is important that the heat-resistant tape does not touch the leather, as it may tear it off when removed.
- Close the press and apply medium pressure for 50 seconds.
- After this time, using gloves, remove the product from the press.
- Let the product cool down for a few minutes before removing the paper.

After sublimation, parts of the card holder have been damaged.
The material in the non-printable areas is sensitive to heat and these areas should be protected with thermal adhesive tape. For greater protection, it is also recommended to put a protective paper or cardboard.
