We recommend using a mold for sublimation to prevent deformation, but once customized, they are resistant to scratches, scourers, and dishwashers, in addition to being microwave-safe. They are perfect for vibrant and colorful personalizations that remain flawless for a long time.

Personalization Techniques for Sublimation Mugs

The different personalization techniques available ensure you always find the best way to print your designs:

• Sublimation Printing: This is the ideal technique for all our mugs that are coated with varnish to be sublimated. It is especially recommended for ceramic, plastic, or steel blanks, where the color adheres deeply to the coating, achieving vibrant and long-lasting prints. It is not recommended for drinkware of any material that does not have the special coating, as the ink would not adhere properly without a prepared surface.

• Laser Engraving: This is ideal for stainless steel and coated glass, providing precise and durable results. It is possible on ceramic, but it must be done correctly to avoid damaging the coating and ensure an aesthetic result. Ideal for those with one internal and one external color. Do not apply to magic mugs because laser engraving does not interact with thermochromic pigments.

• Direct UV Printing: This is good for coated plastics, as it offers sharp details and vibrant colors. It is not recommended for magic mugs, as it may affect the thermochromic effect. For glass and ceramic, even with a special coating, it does not guarantee adhesion and may not be as durable.

• DTF (Direct to Film) Printing: DTF printing can be applied, but it is not the most recommended option. Unlike sublimation, the finish is not as resistant to daily use or dishwashing, so it is only intended for decorative or temporary uses.

• Screen Printing: This is optimal for large volumes of ceramic and varnish-coated plastics, allowing for solid and long-lasting colors. It is not recommended for stainless steel and glass due to adherence difficulty, even with varnish.

• UV-DTF Printing: This is effective on ceramic, glass, plastics, and metals, providing fine details and durable colors. Its application is very simple and does not require special knowledge or heat presses, allowing for large quantities to be customized quickly and without requiring highly specialized personnel or machinery. It cannot be used in dishwashers, as being a sticker, it could peel off.
